SANA'A, Jan. 12 (Saba) - Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi on Thursday met here in the capital Sana'a with Russian chargé d'affaires to Yemen.
During the meeting, the officials discussed fields of military cooperation between the armies of the two friendly countries and reviewed means to enhance and develop it.
The minister thanked Russia for its vital role in supporting peace and stability in Yemen, as well as backing the Yemeni people in their ordeal and the unjust all-out blockade imposed by the Saudi-led aggression war.
Meanwhile, the Russian diplomat renewed his country's stance to continue its support on both the international and regional levels for achieving peace and stability in Yemen.
