JIZAN, Oct. 19 (Saba) – Dozens of Saudi soldiers were killed in a military operation by the army and popular forces in Jizan region, a military official told Saba on Wednesday.
Among the dozens killed, two Saudi soldiers were killed by the army`s snipers in al-Karn and al-Dawd military site in Jizan.
The forces destroyed Saudi armored tank and killed scores of troops near al-Buqa crossing point also in Jizan, as well as the artillery forces of the army and popular pounded a gathering of Saudi soldiers in the military sites of al-Khawih , al-Mahruk and in the west of al-Dawd.
The official said that the Saudi aggression warplanes launched five strikes on al-Mahrokh, kharab Sadeek sites and al-Dawd mount. The planes continued flying heavily over the sky for hours, he said.
In Najran, the army and popular forces shelled Saudi military gatherings in Rakabah al-Sudais, al-Zaor and al-Dhabah military sites, said the official.
