[27/ April/2024]

GAZA April 27. 2024 (Saba) - The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, published on Saturday a video showing two Zionist prisoners, talking about the conditions of their detention in the Gaza Strip.

The Qassam Brigades commented on the video: "Military pressure led to the death of dozens of prisoners in our hands, and deprived the rest of the celebration of Easter with their dear ones."

A 64-year-old Zionist prisoner, Keith Segal, from Kfar Azza, sent a message to his family, saying: "I love you so much. It's important that you know I'm fine, and I hope you are."

"I have very fond memories from Easter last year when we celebrated together," he said, adding in tears: "I very much hope that we will have the best surprise that can happen."

He pointed out that he is in danger under the bombardment, and this is frightening and terrifying, and he has been living for a long time, and feels that he has been abandoned, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all government ministers to be flexible in negotiations, in order to reach a deal soon.

"We feel stalled and that the deal has taken a very long time," he said, stressing that all prisoners must return to their homes and families very soon.

Zionist prisoner Omri Miran, 47, from Kibbutz Nahal Oz, said: "My dear family, I miss you all, my father, my brothers, my sister, my wife Alichai, my precious daughters Roni and Alma."

"This year we have not been able to celebrate any Eid together because of this heinous war. I hope we can at least celebrate together on Independence Day."

He pointed out that he has been in Hamas captivity for more than 202 days, and is living in difficult conditions under heavy bombardment.

"It's time to come up with a deal that gets us out of here alive and well," he said, adding that "I want you to do everything you can to put pressure on the government in every way possible."
