SANA'A 27. 2024 (Saba) - Today’s meeting, headed by the Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Dr. Qasim Al-Hamran, discussed the mechanism for evaluating the performance of local authority agencies in the governorates and districts according to the outputs of the local authority information system.
In the meeting, which was attended by Undersecretaries of the Ministry, Abdul Salam Al-Dala’i, Jamal Al-Alawi, Ammar Al-Hareb, Muhammad Al-Sanhani, and Mansour Al-Lakumi, Al-Hamran urged to address the governorates by providing the Ministry with evaluation reports for the administrative units at the district level.
He stressed the importance of implementing the evaluation process according to a unified model prepared by the ministry. He directed the information sector in the ministry to provide the rest of the sectors with a copy of the evaluation reports, so that they can be reviewed and comments made, if any.
While the Undersecretary for the Information and Statistics Sector, Ahmed Jaber, reviewed a report on the performance of the executive management of the local authority information system.
The meeting was attended by a number of assistant undersecretaries for the sectors and general directors of the ministry.
