GAZA April 24. 2024 (Saba) - Kamal Oudwan (KO) is the only hospital functional in Gaza health system, director of the hospital's public relations said, after Shefa'a Hospital went out of order following Israeli bombing.
Many hospitals make the health system badly confused and add further pressure on KO Hospital, Wesam al-Sakani added in remarks to Saba, as the facility exclusively offers services for children, kidney dialysis, heart care, and intensive care.
KO Hospital needs continually-operated generator, he said, noting that they receive fuel insufficient to generate oxygen, and the facility is the only station to provide the Jordanian Hospital, Sahaba Compound, Ouda Hospital and other medical centers with oxygen.
KO needs specialized medics and equipment, children and other patients need medicines to save their lives, and the Hospital's voluntary medics need support to live, he said.
