SANA'A April 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - Scholarships and Cultural Relations Sector announced the opening of registration for comparison and competition for foreign scholarships offered by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Ministry explained in a statement issued by it, received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the 473 scholarships include bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees for the academic year 1446 AH - 2024/2025 AD, according to the conditions specified on the official website of the Ministry, mohesr.gov.ye.
The statement called on students wishing to apply to register through the electronic portal of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, starting from Shawwal 14, 1445 AH, corresponding to April 23, 2024 AD, until Shawwal 28, 1445 AH, corresponding to May 7, 2024 AD, in preparation for taking the proficiency exams that will be conducted for all students applying in University of Sana'a.
It called on all students to follow the instructions contained in this announcement and adhere to all the controls and conditions mentioned in the electronic portal. It also stressed that any student has the right to apply for registration and enter the selection to compete for these seats, and it is not limited to any category.
The statement pointed out that registration on the official website of the Ministry includes competition for free seats in Yemeni universities (governmental and private), as well as external scholarships, and any student has the right to apply for coordination in one or both of them in accordance with the conditions and procedures followed in the portal.
