Governor of Al-Bayda briefed on Central Agricultural Nursery activity

BAYDA April 20. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, was briefed on the agricultural activity in the central nursery in Al-Bayda.

The governor listened to an explanation from the director of the agriculture office in the governorate, Engineer Abdullah Al-Ameri, about the contents of the central nursery, which amounted to 35,000 seedlings of fruit trees and decorations. He pointed to the role of the nursery in the agricultural production process, and the distribution of seedlings of figs, almonds, pomegranates, and other trees to farmers.

Governor Idris stressed the importance of the central agricultural nursery project to preserve seedlings, fruit and ornamental trees.

He pointed to the need to exploit the natural ingredients that characterize the white and expand the cultivation of figs, coffee and other fruit trees. He pointed to the need to enhance community awareness by paying attention to the agricultural aspect, focusing on solid areas, and exploiting them in agricultural crops in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council for the advancement of the agricultural sector.

The governor of Al-Bayda urged the need to expand the scope of community initiatives in the agricultural sector, and the formation of agricultural associations.
