Iranian Air Navigation announces that flights in country are operating normally
[19/ April/2024]
TEHRAN April 19, 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian Airports and Air Navigation Company announced on Friday that all flights in Iran have returned to normal.

Mehr News Agency reported that flights at Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airports in Tehran, which were postponed or suspended this morning, have returned to their previous status.

Some flights at Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airports were suspended this morning after the activation of Iranian air defenses.

According to the available information, departures from Imam Khomeini Airport (RA) have been resumed, flight offices have been opened and the issuance of airline tickets for passengers has resumed.

According to the information, the Iran Airlines flight "Roma-Tehran", which changed its route to Ankara airport due to the closure of Imam Khomeini airport (RA) and Mehrabad airport and alternative airports such as Isfahan airport, will return to Imam airport again and land on the runway a few minutes later.

Flights at Tehran's Mehrabad airport have also returned to their previous status, but due to delays of several hours on some flights, passengers are asked to check flight schedules before departing for the airport.
