SANA'A April 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, inspected today, Tuesday, the progress of asphalt restoration work and periodic maintenance in a number of streets.
Abbad was briefed on the progress of asphalt restorations and the filling of excavations resulting from torrential rains on Al-Arbaeen Street, starting from the Culture Tour to Beit Boss Triangle, which are being carried out by the emergency teams affiliated with the Executive Unit for the construction, maintenance and development of roads and public places in the Municipality.
Al-Ansi pointed out that there are other teams carrying out traffic safety work, removing and replacing damaged curbs, completing the closure of canceled cylinders, raising bridges, and tiling work on the sidewalks and central islands from Amran Roundabout to Jadar and Airport Street.
Abbad confirmed that the Capital Municipality is witnessing the implementation of a number of road projects, restorations, filling excavations, paving sidewalks and central islands... stressing the need to redouble efforts and raise the pace of work to fill excavations and maintain streets affected by torrential rains in preparation for the upcoming rainstorm.
