SANA'A April 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Public Electricity Corporation announced that the return of electricity to the governorates of Amran and Hajjah, and part of the governorate of Al-Mahwit, will take place in the coming hours.
The Corporation confirmed in a statement received by Saba a copy of it that work is underway in full swing to maintain the line walls of Amran 33 K. P to feed the mentioned areas.
The Corporation reiterated that the electricity supply will be restored in the coming hours immediately after the completion of maintenance by the technical and engineering teams of the corporation.
The Corporation warned citizens not to approach high-pressure lines, in order to preserve their lives.
It is noteworthy that the return of electricity to Amran and Hajjah governorates and part of Al-Mahwit governorate comes days after its return to the Hobeish district in Ibb governorate, after the maintenance of the Majmaah station, and the return of power to citizens after ten years of outage.
During the past two months, the Public Electricity Corporation has restored electricity to Hodeidah governorate and parts of Hajjah governorate, as part of its efforts to rehabilitate the electrical network and restore government power to citizens in various governorates.
