SANAA, July 8 (Saba) - Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daress on Monday stressed the importance of completing the executive mechanism of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state in the oil and minerals sector.



Daress chaired a meeting included the ministry's leaders to discuss the practical steps to implement the vision in the field of expanding investments, exploitation of mineral and oil resources, the provision of oil and gas derivatives, the activation of various units of the ministry.



During the meeting, the executive unit of the national vision at the Ministry of Oil and the sub-committees were formed.



In this context, a meeting was held at the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority under the chairmanship of the Oil Minister.



The meeting dealt with aspects related to the mechanism of implementing the national vision and expanding investment in the mining sector.



The Oil Minister also headed another meeting at the General Yemeni Corporation for Oil and Gas to discuss the mechanism of implementing the national vision and the formation of the sub-committee on the implementation of the vision in the corporation and to activate its role in the oil and gas sector.
