Yemenis will not forget who war them in their livelihood: FM
[21/April/2019]

SANAA, April 21 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Sunday said that the Yemeni people would not forget "those who war them in their livelihood and movement by putting obstacles in front of them."

During his meeting with Director of the Office of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Nicholas Davies, the minister stressed that the other party loyal to the aggression must understand the spirit of Stockholm Agreement.

He called on the other party to correct the wrong procedure and work to alleviate the suffering of citizens, especially speeding the payment of the state employees' salaries without exception and reopening of Sanaa International Airport to civil and commercial flights.

The meeting dealt with the efforts exerted by the UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths, in light of the continuing provocative policies of the other party by taking unilateral measures that increase the suffering of citizens, such as the delay of granting permits for the entry of oil derivatives and directing Aden authorities to not accept the travel documents issued from Sanaa.
