SANAA, April 19 (Saba) - Minister of Information Dhaifallah Al-Shami on Wednesday praised the role of Yemeni women journalists and writers in uncovering the crimes of US-saudi aggression coalition and violations against the Yemeni people.
During a meeting with a number of female writers, the Minister stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to enhance media performance and highlight the grievance of the Yemeni people and the violations and blockade imposed on them that are against all laws and international and humanitarian laws.
He pointed out that the media front represented a strong front in the face of aggression and its plans and countering its misleading campaigns.
He stressed the importance of providing support to female writers, activists and media's female staff in order to enable them to play their leading role towards the homeland, especially in light of current challenges.
The Minister of Information stressed the importance of unifying media efforts and activities in order to contribute to the delivery of the targeted media message. to educate and to immunize the society against the campaigns of coalition aimed at tearing apart the social fabric.
He pointed to the importance of adhering to national principles and constants and upgrading performance in line with the current stage, which requires redoubling efforts by all citizens of the country.
