PROVINCES, April 19 (Saba) - The army, supported by popular forces, over the last 24 hours liberates more than 50 sites and inflicted on the troops of US-saudi aggression coalition heavy losses during several attacks launched on various war-fronts, a military official told Saba.
The official said that the missile and artillery forces launched a joint operation targeting new sites for Saudi soldiers in Qais mount.
Off Qais mount, the army foiled an infiltration of mercenaries leaving huge losses in their troops and managed to control a site there after the mercenaries’ troops fled, despite the intensive cover by the warplanes of coalition, he said.
The army also foiled two infiltration in Mouraba Shajaa and Shabaka, Najran province and despite the intensive air cover the army inflicted on the enemy’s troops heavy casualties, he added.
The army recovered hilltops off Sudis during an attack launched on the mercenaries’ forces, which left huge losses in their ranks, he said.
In Asir, the artillery force shelled gatherings of mercenaries off Aleeb crossing and west of Majaza, he said.
In Dhalea, the army secured Awd front during a military operation launched in this front which led to liberating and securing more than 30 sites their, after they had managed to killing and wounding and capturing tens of the mercenaries, he said.
The army repelled a wide-scale infiltration of mercenaries in Mouris front and shelled the mercenaries’ sites and gatherings of mercenaries there which led to killing and injuring tens of them, he said.
The official added that the army managed to liberate more than 20 sites in the strategic mount of Halmous, Bayda province, killing and wounding scores of mercenaries and seizing a large quantity of weapons and munitions, he said.
The official said that the army secured a mount and three hilltops in Maqbana front, Taiz province, during an attack launched by the army resulting in killing and wounding tens of mercenaries, he affirmed.
In Jawf, the army launched two attacks on sites of mercenaries north and west of Mazareek, Khab Wa Shaaf district, which resulted in killing and wounding tens of them and to destroying six military vehicles, he said.
In Hajjah province, the amry fired a Zizal-1 missile at gatherings of mercenaries and invaders east of Nar mount which caused heavy losses in the enemy’s ranks, he said, affirming that the army destroyed a military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries east of Nar mount killing its crew’s members.
He affirmed that the snipers units during the last 72 hours launched 58 operation against the mercenaries and invaders ranks in various front, which resulted in killing and wounding 34 mercenaries in Jizan and Najran fronts.
