PROVINCES, April 18 (Saba) – The army, supported by popular forces, over the last 24 hours inflicted on the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s troops heavy losses in several attacks launched on various war-fronts, a military official on Thursday told Saba.
The official said that the missile and artillery forces launched a joint operation on gatherings of Saudi soldiers in al-Mashriq, Jizan province, which left huge losses in their ranks.
The army foiled two infiltrations by mercenaries, covered by their air force, off M.B.C. mount and east of Dukhan mount which resulted in killing and injuring tens of them, he said.
The army launched an attack on sites of mercenaries east of Khouba, which resulted in killing and injuring tens of them, including three Sudanese soldiers, he said, adding that the army foiled another infiltration attempt off Qais mount and fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets on mercenaries’ gatherings in Mawseem Gate.
The army launched another attack on mercenaries’ sites off Sudis, in Najarn province, which left huge losses in their ranks, he affirmed, adding that the army killed and wounded tens others when they ambushed their gatherings in the same area.
Several Katyusha rockets and shells were fired at Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Raqabat Nahouqa which caused heavy losses in their ranks, he added.
An infiltration of mercenaries was foiled in Sawh, which led to killing and injuring scores of them, he said, adding that the army foiled another infiltration by mercenaries in Mouraba Hammad.
The artillery force shelled the mercenaries’ gatherings in the mentioned area which led to killing and wounding tens of the mercenaries.
In Asir, the army fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets and shells at mercenaries’ gatherings off Aleeb crossing and in the west of Majaza, he said, adding that the army destroyed an armored fighting vehicle off Aleeb and killed its crew’s members.
The army launched three attacks on mercenaries’ sites in Tawathina, Mohour hilltops, Dhouhra and in areas nearby Moton complex, which resulted in heavy human and material losses in the enemy’s ranks, he said, adding that the army foiled two other infiltration in Dhouhra, Khab Wa Shaaf district, which resulted in destroying two enemy armored fighting vehicles, killing and injuring scores of them.
In Dhalea, the army launched an offensive on sites of mercenaries in Mouris front, which left huge losses in their ranks, he said, adding that the army fired three Zizal-1 missiles at mercenaries’ gatherings in the same front leaving heavy huge casualties in their ranks, he said.
In Lahj, the artillery force shelled gatherings of mercenaries in Karish front, which led to killing and injuring tens of them, he said, adding that three mercenaries were killed when the army ambushed their groups in Haydin, Karish district.
The army killed and injured 12 mercenaries when they ambushed their military vehicle in Hayran front, Hajjah province, he said, adding that the army fired a Zizal-1 missile and shells at mercenaries’ gatherings in Hayran killing and wounding tens of them.
He affirmed that the artillery force shelled also other gatherings east of Nar mount.
