PROVINCES, April 13 (Saba) – The army, supported by popular forces, over the last 24 hours inflicted on the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s troops heavy losses during several attacks launched on various war-fronts, a military official on Saturday told Saba.
In Najran and Jizan, The sniper units killed and injured 21 mercenaries and invadrers, including three Saudi soldiers.
The army stormed sites of mercenaries in Reshaha, Najran, killing and injuring tens of them, the official said, adding that the artillery force shelled their groups at Raqabat Marash.
He affirmed that army foiled infiltration of mercenaries east of Dukhan, Jizan, which last four several hours and was covered by the warplanes and Apache of the enemy, which resulted in killing tens of them.
In Asir, the army’s missile force fired a Zizal-1 missile at the depots of artillery in Rabouaa which resulted in heavy losses in their ranks, he said, adding that a Saudi-led bulldozer was destroyed when the army targeted it in the same area.
The army stormed sites of mercenaries off Aleeb which led to killing and wounding tens while an armored fighting vehicle along with two military vehicles were destroyed off Aleeb, he said.
Two military vehicles were destroyed when the artillery force shelled the mercenaries’ sites in Majaza, he said, adding that the army stormed sites of mercenaries in Saqia front, Ghail district.
He affirmed that the artillery force shelled the enemy’s fortifications during this attack which resulted in scores of dead and wounded in their ranks.
In Astar front, the army killed three mercenaries and destroyed a machine gun, he said.
In Dhalea, the army destroyed a tank using a guided rocket in Mouris front, he added.
The official said that the army fighters managed to kill the mercenary colonel Abdullah Sawmal, commander of the so-called first team at the enemy “brigade for support” in Nehm front.
The army attacked sites of mercenaries east of hayran, Hajjah province, killing and injuring tens and causing as well heavy losses in their ranks, he affirmed.
