PROVINCES, April 12 (Saba) – The army, supported by popular forces, over the last 24 hours inflicted on the troops of US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition heavy losses during several attacks launched on various fronts, a military official told Saba.
In Najran, the army launched a wide-scale attack on sites of Saudi and Sudanese soldiers in Shabaka, Shourfa and areas off Sudis which resulted in killing and injuring tens of them, including four Sudanese soldiers, he said, affirming that the army seized a large quantity of weapons during the attack.
The force of rocketry and artillery had bombarded before the attack the mercenaries’ sites and managed to set fire on a two machine guns and an artillery, he added.
The missile force launched a Zilzal-1 missile and shells at gatherings of mercenaries in Sawh area, off Najarn, killing and injuring tens of them, he said, adding that the artillery had shelled mercenaries’ gatherings in new site established nearby Raqabat Marash.
The army ambushed an engineering team for the mercenaries off Sudis killing and injuring scores of them and destroyed two military vehicles in an ambush set up in Bokaa, off Najran, he said, adding that a military vehicle carrying a machine gun was destroyed in Roubaa, Ajasher.
In Jizan, four Sudanese soldiers were snipped while the army foiled two infiltration of mercenaries toward the army and popular forces sites east of Khouba and Doud mount killing and injuring tens, he added, affirming that the army foiled another infiltration of mercenaries off Aleeb, Asir province, despite it was covered by the enemy’s warplanes and Apache.
In Majaza front, the army stormed sites of mercenaries of the Saudi army which resulted in killing and injuring tens of them, he said, adding that the artillery force shelled mercenaries’ gatherings off Aleeb killing and injuring scores of them.
In Jawf, a Saudi-led military vehicle was destroyed in Khalifin front, Khab Wa Shaaf district, which resulted in killing their crew’s members, he said, adding that a tanks belonging to the mercenaries was destroyed using a guided rocket in Mouris front, Dhalea province.
