PROVINCES, April 10 (Saba) - The army, supported by popular forces, over the last 24 hours inflicted on mercenaries of the US-backed saudi-led aggression coalition heavy losses during several attacks launched on various fronts, a military official told Saba on Wednesday.
The official affirmed that 15 mercenaries were killed when the engineering units ambushed them off Aleeb crossing, Asir province, the official said, adding that several of mercenaries were killed when the army destroyed their military vehicle in al-Hadid front.
In Asir also, the army destroyed military vehicle loaded with weapons and killed two mercenaries off Aleeb, he said.
In Rabouaa , the missile force fired two Zizal-1 missiles at the mercenaries' sites in Raqabat al-Sahn, he affirmed.
Off Najran, the army killed and injured tens of Saudi-led mercenaries when
they bombarded their gatherings in Boka desert, he said, adding that a military vehicle loaded with mercenaries was destroyed when the army ambushed it in Ajasher desert killing those who were aboard.
In Jizan, the army killed several Sudanese mercenaries and injured others when the artillery shelled them east of Jahfan while a Saudi soldier was killed and other injured when the engineering units ambushed them in Waeela site, he affirmed.
In Jawf, the army stormed sites of mercenaries east of Sabreen, Khab Wa Shaaf district, killing dozens of them, he said, affirming that tens of mercenaries were killed and others wounded when the engineering units of army ambushed them in the same area.
Another military vehicle loaded with mercenaries was destroyed east of Moton complex, he added.
The artillery force shelled gatherings of mercenaries nearby Wazaaia junction in Taiz, he said, affirming that the army foiled mercenaries’ infiltration in Dhalea.
In Hajjah, the missile force fired a Zilzal-1 missile at mercenaries’ gatherings north of Mouthalath Aheem, he said, affirming that the mercenaries were inflicted huge losses.
North of Midi desert, the army snipped five Sudanese mercenaries, he said, affirming that the army stormed sites of mercenaries west of Hayran killing and injuring tens of them.
The army stormed also sites of mercenaries south of Qarn, Nehm front, killing and injuring tens of them and foiled mercenaries’ infiltration in Shaab al-Jarjour killing and injuring tens of them while the rest fled, he affirmed, adding that military bulldozer belonging to the mercenaries was destroyed in Hawl front when the artillery shelled it.
