Prime Minister Meets YPC Executive Director
[20/February/2019]

SANAA, Feb. 20 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Wednesday met with Executive Director of Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) Yasser al-Wahidi, who briefed him on the company's activity and its plan for the current year.

Al-Wahidi reviewed the company's continual efforts to achieve the stability of the oil derivatives supply in the capital Sanaa and the provinces, referring to the negative effects of preventing the entry of ships carrying oil derivatives to the port of Hodeidah by Saudi-Emirati-led coalition, despite obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.

The prime minister praised the company efforts to provide the oil derivatives and to enhance the partnership with the private sector in this aspect.

Bin Habtoor denounced the coalition's practices and its non-recognition of United Nations permits for the ships carrying oil derivatives, confirming that this act by the aggressors necessitates a serious stand and strict positions towards them, especially from the United Nations and the European Union.
