SANAA, Feb. 20 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Wednesday with the new Resident Representative of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to Yemen.

At the meeting, the officials reviewed a role of the UNICEF providing necessary services in vital areas to alleviate suffering of the Yemeni children and women, who have been affected by the Saudi-led coalition's war on Yemen since four years.

The minister stressed the importance of enhancing the cooperation with the UNICEF and other humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.

Meanwhile, the UNICEF's official stressed that the UNICEF's organization is committed to fully cooperate with the Yemeni authorities and exerting all efforts to provide the necessary services to the Yemeni citizens.
