JIZAN, Feb. 20 (Saba) - The army, supported by popular forces, on Tuesday killed and injured tens of saudi soldiers and the US-backed saudi-led aggression coalition' mercenaries in Jizan province, a military official told Saba.
The army launched an offensive on a new camp of the saudi army in Faridah killing and injuring dozens of the saudi soldiers and managed to destroy a machine gun belonging to them.
He affirmed that operation was preceded by the army shelling on the mercenaries' sites executed by the units of artillery and rocketry.
Scores of mercenaries were killed, while other injured, when they attempt to infiltrate to the army's sites off Qais mount, he added.
The army foiled two other infiltration attempts to Qumama hilltop east of Khouba killing and injuring tens.
The artillery of army shelled other enemy's gatherings east of Doud and Jahfan mounts and burned a saudi-led military vehicle east of Doud mount.
Three mercenaries were gunned down by the snipers units east of Jahfan mount.
