TAIZ, Jan. 20 (Saba) - Deputy governor of Taiz Mansour al-Kaloumi inaugurated Saturday the football league for the schools' teams organized by the educational unit with the support of youth and sports offices, culture, education, endowments and guidance on the anniversary of the Martyr under the slogan "Our martyrs are our leaders".

In the inauguration, al-Kaloumi pointed out the importance of such activities in discovering the talents of young people, developing their abilities and enhancing their skills, stressing the need to commemorate the martyr's anniversary to mark the sacrifices of martyrs in defending the homeland.

On the other hand, Director General of the Office of Education in the province Abdul Khaliq Al-Sarari and Director General of Youth and Sports Khalid Al-Sufi, said that the establishment of the sports league, which lasts for a week comes within the framework of the anniversary of the martyr and a sign of loyalty and gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed themselves in defense of the homeland.

The launch was attended by a number of relatives and sons of martyrs, Deputies of governor of the province and young people and those interested.
