SANAA, Jan. 15 (Saba) - The British House of Lords rejected Prime Minister Teresa May's agreement on exit from the European Union (BREXIT) in a vote on a measure on the rejection of the deal passed on Monday night.
Members of the House of Lords have warned that the May agreement with the EU would hurt Britain's economic prosperity as well as domestic security and global influence, after a lengthy three-day debate to refuse to leave the union without a conclusive agreement.
This setback came to the May government on the eve of the House of Commons vote on the withdrawal agreement reached with the European Union.
