PROVINCES, Jan. 2 (Saba) - The army, backed by the Popular Forces, carried out over the 24 last hours military operations on positions of the Saudi enemy and their mercenaries, causing loss of life and equipment and shot down a spy plane of the enemy in Jizan.
A military source told the Saba news agency that the army heroes had repulsed two infiltration attempts by the mercenaries of the Saudi army towards the eastern and western Rishaha of Najran.
Dozens of dead and wounded were killed by mercenaries in a failed attempt to sneak into military positions in the desert of Boka off Najran.
The source pointed out that the air defenses downed an espionage aircraft belonging to the aggression coalition east of Mount Dod in Jizan.
The artillery pounded the groups of Saudi soldiers and mercenaries in the Hamar Tabat and east of Jabal Juhfan. two mercenaries were also sniped east of dood mount.
In Jawf province, the army carried out an attack on mercenary sites in Wadi Shuq in Al-Ghail district, causing heavy loss in lives and equipment among the enemys.
Scores of mercenaries were killed, others were injured and three vehicles were destroyed during a large infiltration in Sabrin Front supported by an air cover.
The source confirmed the death of scores of mercenaries, including a leader and injuring of others in an ambush set up in one of hilltops of Qaniyah in the province of Bayda.
The source said that the army heroes took control of several sites of mercenaries southwest of Shilila in the front of Harad following an attack by the fighters and lasted several hours, also resulted in the death and wounding a number of them and the fighters seized a variety of weapons.
According to the source, a group of mercenaries was targeted with artillery shells, as well as a gathering of 20 military vehicles of the enemy west of Hiran in Hajjah province.
The attack caused heavy casualties among the enemy, and artillery shelled the groups and positions of mercenaries east of Jabal al-Nar in the front of Harad.
