SANAA, Dec. 17 (Saba) - The army on Monday repelled the US-backed Saudi-led mercenaries' infiltration attempts in several fronts over the 24 past hours, while their troops were fired with artillery and rocket shelling inflicted them heavy losses, according to military reports combined by Saba.
In nearby Najran, the army repelled two infiltrations of the mercenaries towards Ajasher desert, killing and injuring dozens and destroying four military vehicles, a military official said.
In also Najran, the engineering unit carried out a number of ambushes set up on the mercenaries' gatherings during the infiltration that lasted for hours in participated with warplane and apache aircraft.

In Jawf, the army supported by popular forces carried out an offensive on the mercenaries' troops in al-Mahashimah in Khab Wa Ash Sha'af, killing and injuring dozens.
In Nehm destrect, The army repelled an infiltration of the mercenaries towards al-Salda'a in al-Hawl and beyond al-Qarn, killing and injuring dozens, while the army attacked the mercenaries' sites in al-Tibab al-Sood in the sides of Harib Nehm, killing and injuring dozens.
