SANAA, Nov. 21 (Saba) - At least six Malian soldiers have been killed and 10 wounded in three attacks which took place in different parts of the country.
Security sources from Bamako said the heaviest attack occurred in Niona, central Mali, when a military patrol clashed with a group of gunmen.
The sources said that in Bunny, the center of the country, also near Niona, where a military vehicle was destroyed by a landmine that unknown gunmen had planted in advance and then opened automatic fire on the survivors of the explosion, killing soldiers and injuring four others.
The third attack took place in Sokolo, central Mali, when three gendarmes were injured after their vehicle was also hit by a mine. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
