SANAA, Nov. 18 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Aziz al-Koumaim discussed today with WFP Resident Representative in Yemen Stephen Anderson a number of issues related to the cooperation between Yemen and the WFP.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues relating to the implementation of the WFP's Plan for the year 2018 in Yemen and ways to strengthen the cooperation frameworks between the country and the World Food Program in order to support the activities of the program in Yemen.
The two sides also reviewed the implementation of a number of projects within the activities of the World Food Program in Yemen.
In this regard, the minister stressed the government's keenness represented by the Ministry to provide all facilities available to support the activities of the WFP.
For his part, the WFP Resident Representative stressed WFP's keenness to continue its activities in Yemen and provide food support to affected categories.
