KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 (Saba) - The National Team for Juniors has ended his participation to the Asian Cup finals in Malaysia with their second loss to North Korea in their Group B match.
The team performance was high in the first half. When they got two chances, the first was missed by Sadiq Al-Jalal in the 33rd minute, and Tamer Sinan's shot went just over the goal before the Korean team scored the winner through header in the last minute.
In the second half, the national team pressed and threw all their weight on the Korean goal in order to return to the high-level of playing during the first half of the match and was about to score the goal equalizer but the defenders and the Korean goalkeeper stopped the attacks, ending the game.
The Korean team lifted their account of points to four occupying second place behind the pioneers of Oman, who drew in Jordan with two goals each, and the national team came at the end of the list without points.
The national team, which lost the first meeting with Oman team with two unanswered goals will conclude their participation to the finals on Thursday with their third-placed Jordanian counterpart .
On the sidelines of the match, a press conference was held for Egyptian Nationality coach of the Yemeni National team Magdi Shalaby, where he expressed his satisfaction with the level of players' performance despite the loss.
