SANAA, Feb. 11 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Saturday met with Head of Delegation at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Yemen, Alexandre Faite.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the latest developments in the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
They also reviewed the activities of the ICRC delegation.

The Minister affirmed that the past period witnessed a significant deterioration in the humanitarian situation due to the escalation of the Saudi-led aggression coalition and the unjust siege imposed on Yemen for the third year in a row.

Sharf stressed on the need of redoubling the commensurate efforts of humanitarian organizations to cope with the suffering and needs of the Yemeni people.

For his part, Alexander Faite, stressed on the commitment of the ICRC delegation to provide all possible support and contribute to help the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
