SANA'A, March 20 (Saba) - Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Ghazi Mohsen met on Monday with the International Committee of the Red Cross team, headed by director of economic security in the Middle East Christophe Deris.

The meeting discussed the possibility of supporting agricultural activities, including improved seed production and combating plant pests and providing supplies and veterinary treatments.

The meeting also discussed ways of supporting the agricultural fields with solar energy and enhancing technical activities in the agricultural field as well.

The meeting examined the possibility of providing urgent support to develop Rusaba dairy farm in Dhamar province and promote its activities to raise the production capacity of milk.


Minister of Agriculture praised the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross in supporting Yemen in a number of areas including helping to alleviate the suffering of the citizens and displaced people in the light the ongoing aggression against Yemen.

The international official of the International Committee of the Red Cross said that the committee is ready to provide support in accordance with the available especially supporting displaced people in the country.
