SANA’A, June 26 (Saba) – President of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohmmed Ali al-Houthi has received the Middle East and North Africa adviser at the Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) of Korea.

The meeting discussed the projects being funded by the Korean bank in Yemen, particularly those projects relating to the agricultural sector, as well as the nature of the soft loans offered by the bank in this area.

The two sides also touched on the coordinative and practical procedures to ensure achieving a higher quality of current projects in the agricultural side, which the bank seeks to finance with soft loans.

The meeting also dealt with the future prospects for developing those projects in accordance with the economic controls and measures that achieve the desired interest to the final beneficiary in the agricultural sector.

The Korean official confirmed the Bank’s keenness to continue to work in Yemen in the current agricultural support project and in field of the energy and water projects.
