SANA'A May 19. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a province today, Sunday, headed by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, discussed the level of implementation of community initiative projects in the province center and directorates.
The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Administration, Muhammad Al-Sanhani, the province’s advisors, Abdullah Al-Marouni, Abdul-Rahman Al-Saraji, and Abdul-Rahman Al-Murtada, the directors of the relevant executive offices and directorates, reviewed the projects of community and agricultural initiatives being implemented, the procedures for completing their implementation, and the role of directorate directors in that.
The attendees stressed the importance of raising projects for community and agricultural initiatives according to the remaining balances of the plan for the year 1445 AH, and the mechanism for its implementation, as well as the mechanism for raising projects for the year 1446 AH, according to areas of urgent need and the balances available for each directorate.
The Directors of Agriculture and Irrigation, Engineer Ali Al-Qairi, the Initiatives, Engineer Muhammad Al-Nazari, the Works, Engineer Muhammad Ishafa, and the Executive Unit, Engineer Sami Al-Turabi, provided clarifications about the faltering projects , appropriate proposals to address and overcome them.
They pointed out the importance of activating the role of society in implementing initiatives, as well as uploading data on projects to complete road asphalting in rural directorates and agricultural projects to be included in future plans.
While Al-Jilani stressed the importance of coordination between the initiators and the local authority, following up on initiatives before, during and after implementation and working to solve problems in all projects in a timely manner.
He stressed the necessity of involving associations in development work and paying attention to agricultural initiatives, directing prior coordination with the administrative units in the directorates when landing any equipment to work on any project.
