GAZA May 09. 2024 (Saba) - Medical sources in the Gaza Strip on Thursday accused the Zionist enemy forces of committing genocide against the residents of Gaza by closing the crossings and preventing travel and the entry of medical aid and fuel into Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Wafa Agency citing sources that these closures have dire consequences, every hour, we lose some of the wounded from previous lists, who were awaiting travel to neighboring countries.
The agency reported that the wounded and ill are succumbing gradually due to insufficient medical treatment and supplies, compounded by the inability to travel for treatment beyond the borders of Gaza Strip.
The toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has been catastrophic. The number of martyrs has risen to a staggering 34,904, with over 78,514 injured. Despite these harrowing figures, thousands remain trapped under rubble and on impassable roads, beyond the reach of ambulance and civil defense crews.
The situation in Gaza demands urgent attention and action from the international community to prevent further loss of life and alleviate the suffering of its people.
