GAZA May 07. 2024 (Saba) - 20 Palestinians, including children and women, were martyrs since dawn on Tuesday, in the intensive bombardment of the Zionist enemy in the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" quoted Palestinian medical sources as saying that 20 martyrs and dozens of injuries reached the Kuwait Specialized Hospital in Rafah.
The same sources added that the rescue and ambulance crews recovered the bodies of four martyrs, including two women, and 18 others were wounded, in the bombing of the Zionist enemy house of the Darbi family in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah, and the bodies of three martyrs from under the rubble of the Abu Amra family home, and four martyrs from the Hams family in the eastern neighborhood of El Geneina, and four other martyrs in the bombing of a house for the northern and Abdel Aal families.
The sources pointed out that a number of injuries reached the Kuwait Specialist Hospital, as a result of Zionist warplanes targeting the house of the Afifi family in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah.
The Zionist enemy aircraft launched air raids targeting the Abu Halawa area, east of Rafah, in conjunction with the shelling of the Zionist enemy's artillery and firing on Palestinian homes in the eastern areas of Rafah.
Since Monday, the Zionist enemy forces began to invade the city of Rafah, and demanded that the Palestinian citizens in the eastern areas leave.
Since the beginning of the aggression, the Zionist enemy has forced Palestinian citizens to flee from the north and center of the Gaza Strip to the southern cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah.
Since the beginning of the ground operation launched by the Zionist enemy forces on the Gaza Strip on October 27, the city of Rafah, estimated at 65 square kilometers, has been the last haven for displaced people in the stricken Strip, and now houses more than 1.5 million citizens.
The Zionist enemy continues its aggression by land, sea and air on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, which resulted in the death of 34,735 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 78,108 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
