LONDON May 07. 2024 (Saba) -University students in Oxford and Cambridge on Tuesday began pro-Palestine demonstrations following their colleagues in Colombia and other US universities.
Supporting the Palestinian Cause, the students in Oxford University erected tents in Rivers House's garden, the Anadolu agency (AA) said.
The students called on their university to end relations with companies cooperating with the Zionist entity, vowing to continue protests until their demand is met.
In Cambridge University, the students said they would camp in King St. in protest of their university's investment in companies cooperating with Israel.
The university backs genocide committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza, the students said, expressing their objection to stay indifferent at the situation.
