IBB May 06.2024 (Saba) - The Director of the Al-Saddah Directorate, Muhammad Al-Darwani, today inspected the progress of summer course activities and programs in a number of the Directorate’s centers.
Al-Darwani, along with the directors of the governorate’s public works offices, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Shami, the statistician Yahya Al-Arami, and the archaeologist Muhammad Al-Annabi, who were in charge of the courses, listened to an explanation of the nature of the activities, the progress of performance, and the extent of the interest of those enrolled in them to benefit from them.
The visitors stressed the importance of making the summer courses’ programs and activities successful in order to achieve a positive impact in protecting students from false ideas, pointing out the importance of developing their knowledge and arming them with Quranic culture and faith education.
They considered the summer courses an educational station for knowledge, awareness, fortification, connection to faith identity and Quranic culture, and developing students’ abilities in various aspects.
They called on parents and the community to encourage their children to enroll in summer courses to seize this opportunity to acquire useful knowledge and sciences and arm them with the culture of the Qur’an and faith identity.
In addition, the directors of Al-Saddah, Public Works, Statistics and Antiquities Directorate reviewed the progress of the secondary school certificate exams in a number of testing centers in Al-Saddah Directorate.
During the visit, the visitors praised the efforts made by the educational staff in implementing the tests and their keenness to make them successful, urging the male and female students to be diligent and persevere to achieve the desired success and excellence.
