MAHWIT May 06. 2024 (Saba) - The local authority in Al-Mahwit Governorate handed over today, Monday, the implementation sites of Beit Al-Bahri Al-Hawasla-Tahama Road paving project in Jabal Al-Mahwit District to the implementing authority.

The project, which is funded by the Ministry of Public Works, consists of paving and improving the most rugged section, one kilometer long, at a cost of 68 million 320 thousand riyals.

Al-Dhamari stressed the keenness to begin work on the project in accordance with the technical and engineering specifications and to complete it within the specified period. He praised the developmental role played by the Public Works Project through the service projects it implements and its targeting of the areas most in need of such projects.

The handover was attended by the Secretary of the District’s Local Council, Yahya Khadif, the Local Council Member, Chairman of the Beneficiaries Committee, Ali Al-Hawsali, the province’s Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Muhammad Al-Jawda, and the Project Consultant, Engineer Hisham Al-Shutair.
