TULKARM May 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed on Monday that the Zionist enemy forces are besieging a group of volunteer paramedics inside a house in Tulkarm camp, in the northern occupied West Bank, and proceeding to demolish the facades of the building.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted the association in a statement as saying that forces from the Zionist enemy army surrounded a group of volunteer paramedics inside a house in the Tulkarm camp in the northern occupied West Bank.
It added that enemy forces "began the process of demolishing the facades of the house," without explaining the reasons.
It pointed out that communication and coordination is underway with the International Committee of the Red Cross in this regard.
Since dawn today, large forces of the enemy army stormed the Tulkarm refugee camp in the northern West Bank, besieging it from all sides and curfew.
The enemy army began bulldozing infrastructure, shops and homes, amid armed clashes with Palestinians.
Eyewitnesses reported occasional explosions in the camp.
They explained that the enemy army also began evacuating Palestinian families from the camp's Sawalma neighborhood, without elaborating.
The enemy also surrounded Thabet Thabet government hospital in Tulkarm city and searched ambulances, witnesses said.
In parallel with its war on Gaza since the seventh of last October, the Zionist enemy escalated its operations in the West Bank, leaving in addition to the arrests 496 martyrs and about four thousand and 950 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health data until Saturday evening.
The Zionist enemy is waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left tens of thousands dead and wounded, most of them children and women, massive destruction, and famine that has killed children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN statements.
