SANA'A May 05. 2024 (Saba) - The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expects rain of varying intensity in a number of provinces, and hot weather in the coastal plains and desert areas during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected in parts of Socotra, Hadramaut, Shabwa, Al-Bayda, Abyan, Lahj, Al-Dhale', Taiz, and Ibb provinces.
Scattered rain may fall on parts of the eastern and southern coasts, the adjacent inland areas, and parts of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Sana’a, Raymah and Dhamar provinces.
The center indicated that the weather may be hot in the coastal plains and desert areas during the day, with temperatures ranging between 35-41 degrees Celsius.
The center warned citizens of rain, thunderstorms, and torrents flowing in reefs , valleys, and of the decline in horizontal visibility on mountain roads due to rainfall, fog formation, or water mulch.
It also warned of hot weather during the day in desert areas and coastal plains.
