MOSCOW May 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that an attempted terrorist attack by the Kiev regime, using a drone, was thwarted over the territory of the Russian province of Belgorod.

The Russian news agency "Sputnik" quoted the ministry as saying in a statement, on Saturday evening, that "at about 17:30 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to launch a terrorist attack using a drone against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted.

The statement added that the air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the territory of the Belgorod province.
