BAYDA May 02. 2024 (Saba) - The Office of Industry and Trade in Al-Bayda province destroyed 16 tons of expired food and consumer goods that were seized during the past two months.
During the destruction, the director of the industrial office in the province, Ahmed Al-Tahri, explained that the destruction process took place after completing all related procedures, and in the presence of representatives of the concerned authorities.
He stressed the continuation of the monitoring campaign on markets in the province center and the districts. Tahri called on citizens to cooperate with the monitoring teams by reporting merchants who manipulate prices and are involved in selling expired materials.
