SANA'A May 02. 2024 (Saba) - The activities of the training program to qualify a food facility inspection specialist, organized by the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, were concluded today,Thursday, in Sana'a.
Over the course of five days, the program aimed to provide 21 trainees from the staff of the Authority’s branch in Hodeida province with information and skills to enhance their capacity building in the field of health requirements , in food establishments and their workers.
Deputy Director General of the Authority for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Kamal Margham also stressed the Authority’s interest in training and qualifying its cadres in various fields in a way that contributes to developing , improving performance and the Authority’s supervisory work.
He pointed out that the Authority is the safety valve for society by preparing standard specifications for all goods and products and monitoring their application.
Dr. Margham urged the participants to apply the skills and information they received in practice in a way that would protect and serve society.
