WASHINGTON May 1. 2024 (Saba) - US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, on Tuesday threatened that the International Criminal Court, if it issues an arrest warrant against the Prime Minister of the Zionist enemy Benjamin Netanyahu, would respond and take measures against it.
Johnson said, "We must respond to the International Criminal Court by imposing sanctions and turning the tables on them," according to the Palestinian Ma'an Agency
He added, "Republicans and Democrats are united in rejecting the issuance of an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court against the Zionist Prime Minister."
Members of the US Congress, on Tuesday threatened the International Criminal Court with “retaliatory measures” if it issued arrest warrants against senior Zionist officials.
The American website "Axios" quoted the Chairman of the House of Representatives International Affairs Committee, Michael McCaul, as saying that he was "awaiting the House of Representatives' version regarding imposing sanctions on officials of the International Criminal Court participating in investigations against the United States and its allies."
Earlier, Zionist media said that Netanyahu is deeply concerned about the possibility of the International Criminal Court in The Hague issuing an arrest warrant in his name due to the war in the Gaza Strip.
