SANA'A April 28. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting held on Sunday at the Shu'ab district in Amanat Al-Asimah, chaired by the head of the Social Affairs Committee of the Local Council, Hamoud Al-Naqib, approved the emergency room plan related to the implementation of interventions and rapid response during the rainy season in the district.
The meeting reviewed the guidelines and priorities of the emergency plan, the equipment of the emergency operations room, the work of the field teams, and access to the channels and streams of torrents and places where rainwater collects.
He touched on the mechanisms of work and coordination between all executive offices, concerned authorities and emergency teams, taking the necessary treatments to drain rainwater, appropriate procedures and measures to reduce flood damage, and field preparations to face any emergency.
The captain stressed on raising readiness, mobilizing efforts, providing the necessary requirements for the implementation of emergency works and interventions, and rapid response to address the damage caused by floods.
