CAPITALS April 27. 2024 (Saba) - Today, Saturday, mass demonstrations condemning the 202nd day of Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip continue in many cities and world and Arab capitals.
Thousands participated in demonstrations organized in the German capital Berlin, the British capital London, the Danish capital Copenhagen, the Swedish city of Helsingburi, the capital of Austria Vienna, in addition to the capital Tunis, in support of the Palestinian people, and to demand a ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Participants in the demonstrations waved Palestinian flags and banners condemning the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
The participants called for an end to double standards and the need to prosecute the occupation for its massacres against the Palestinian people, especially children, and condemned the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In London, the march began in front of the parliament building, with the participation of civil society organizations, trade unions, anti-Zionist Jews, health workers, university students, as well as the Prime Minister of the Northern Ireland Regional Government, Michelle O'Neill, and the Palestinian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Husam Zomlot.
The demonstrators called on the British government to resume funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) after it was suspended over Israeli allegations.
