SANA'A April 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Executive Director General of the Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization (YSMO), Sam Al-Bashiri, was briefed on Monday on the progress of work at the Nehm Customs Center.
Al-Bashiri listened from the Director of the Center, Eng. Mohammed Saeed, to the efforts exerted to provide services related to the tasks and activities of the authority, develop procedures, update mechanisms for control and inspection, and the difficulties facing the workflow.
The Executive Director of the Authority stressed the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen the role of the Supervisory Center in various aspects to ensure consumer protection from goods and products that do not conform to the approved standard specifications.
He praised the efforts exerted by the center and the relevant authorities and their keenness to intensify control over goods and merchandise entering through the center.
