SANA'A March 28. 2024 (Saba) - Local Administration Ministry launched the distribution of computers, along with their accessories, to 23 districts in (Sana'a - Taiz - Ibb - Al-Hodeida- Hajjah provinces).
The support implemented by the United Nations Development Programme, with funding from the European Union, includes 80 computers, projectors, printers and networking tools, in addition to office furniture and solar energy systems.
During the inauguration, the Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Dr. Qasim Al-Hamran, explained that the distribution process was carried out in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Administration , Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs , International Cooperation, and targets women’s offices, information departments, training and experience exchange halls in 23 directorates in Sana’a, Taiz, Ibb, Al-Hudaydah, and Hajjah provinces.

In turn, the Assistant Undersecretary for Cooperative Affairs, Nabil Al-Dimashqi, expressed his hope that this support, which comes within the framework of the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Flexibility in Yemen (SIERY) project, will contribute to improving the performance of local authority agencies in the targeted districts, provinces , revitalizing their service and development role.
