SANA'A March 22. 2024 (Saba) - The United States of America and the Western countries blatantly ignored human rights and prevented a “ceasefire” by using the “veto” to stop the massacres and extermination committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, which prompted the usurping entity yesterday evening to begin managing the city of Rafah and move on.
Thus, it seems that the Zionist enemy is continuing with its plans to invade Rafah and commit more murders, massacres and genocide under the eyes of the entire world.
In this context, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the usurping entity “began to destroy the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip and did not wait for permission from anyone, nor did it announce this to avoid international reactions.”
The Ministry condemned in the strongest terms "the brutal and bloody bombardment committed by the Zionist enemy forces against the Palestinian people, which escalating insanely since yesterday, an concentrated at dawn this day by targeting homes above the heads of their residents in Rafah, leaving dozens martyred, wounded, and missing under the rubble."
Despite repeated international appeals for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in the Gaza Strip, and demands after the attack on Rafah due to the “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe” in the Strip, the Zionist entity does not pay any attention to the American and Western.
After the Zionist aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Rafah became a forced home for displaced Palestinians from all over the Strip, whose number reached more than a million, living in harsh humanitarian conditions, and under Zionist pressure aimed at displacing them to the Sinai Peninsula.
The population of Rafah governorate about 260 thousand people, while the city’s population is about 191 thousand people, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics for the year 2021.
Most of Rafah's residents trace their origins to the Bedouins of the Negev, the Sinai Desert, and the neighboring city of Khan Yunis, and they were joined after 1948 by many immigrants from different parts of occupied Palestine and the Gaza Strip.
Many organizations such as Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders, Doctors of the World, Handicap International, International Emergency, Islamic Relief in France, International Federation for Human Rights, Amnesty International, ActionAid International, and the Catholic Committee against Hunger and other organizations that have confirme "collectively and globally call for an immediate ceasefire."
Biden administration continues to obstruct international efforts by procrastinating and bargaining alongside the usurping entity for the ceasefire, and uses its veto in the Security Council at times, and at other times encourages the Zionist entity, through the contradictory statements of its officials, to reject the negotiations or prolong their duration, so that the usurping entity can continue bombing, killing civilians, committing genocide, and starving the population.
In this context, the spokesman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said on Tuesday that Israel’s obstruction of humanitarian aid into Gaza and the possibility of using starvation as a weapon of war “may amount to a war crime.”
Although US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had stated that all residents of Gaza were suffering from “high levels of acute food insecurity,” the United States of America did not actually pressure the Zionist entity to bring in aid by land, despite Blinken’s emphasis on the urgent necessity of increasing the delivery of humanitarian aid to the sector.
As the aggression against Gaza entered its sixth month, the ugly face of American policy on issues of international order, democracy, and human rights became clear to the world through its hegemonic actions that it used to deceive the world and hide its nature through false democracy.
Since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza on October 7, and the American position on Aggression consistent with the entity of the enemy, according to many observers.
At the same time, the American position consistent with the Zionist position, which always stresses the necessity of continuing the aggression against Gaza, despite the expected casualties in the thousands among Palestinian civilians.

The United States has turned a blind eye to the Zionist entity’s violation of human rights, incitement to racial discrimination and hatred, and the attempted forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, and in doing so it seriously violating a series of international agreements and regulations, including the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, the International Convention for the Protection of Human Rights.
By procrastinating and giving the green light over the past six months to the Zionist enemy to bomb, kill, destroy and exterminate, the United States has increasingly revealed its false democracy and the falsity of its defense of freedom and human rights.
