SANA'A March 19. 2024 (Saba) - Once again, “arms smuggling to Yemen” narrative has returned to the forefront. It is the propaganda that the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition, and after it the American-British aggression, has always resorted to repeating with every military failure in front of the Yemeni army since 2015 AD.
The American-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition launched this propaganda for the first time only six months after its military failure against the Sana’a forces at the end of 2015, in an attempt to cast doubt and reduce Yemen’s ability to produce and manufacture war.
Analysts believe that skepticism about the Yemenis’ ability to produce and create stems from an arrogant legacy that dominates the behavior of the ruling regimes that were involved in the aggression against Yemen on behalf of America , the West, and this recklessness led them to an embarrassing situation that undermined everything they had promoted over decades about their alleged military capabilities and armies.
They stressed that these regimes, subject and submissive to American hegemony, insist on not recognizing the changes and transformations that Yemen is witnessing at all levels, which have made it an influential country at the military level, and relies on a locally manufactured missile arsenal, expertise, courageous , liberal leadership, broad popular support, and long experience in war with international alliances.
However, this propaganda, which the American-British aggression was forced to repeat today to cover up its defeats and miserable failure in the Red Sea, no longer deceives anyone, especially the Yemeni people and other free people of the world, as it contradicts reason and logic, and lacks any concrete evidence.
No reasonable person can believe that this large and staggering amount of ballistic missiles of various ranges and drones that the Yemeni armed forces constantly use were obtained through smuggling at a time when Yemen has been subjected to a tight land, sea and air blockade since the beginning of the aggression against it nine years ago.
It is also unreasonable or logical for Sana'a to engage in such open and sophisticated wars in which it directly confronts the most powerful developed countries in the world, such as the United States and Britain, while relying on smuggled weapons.
Among the most important conclusions and evidence that refute these allegations is the difficulty of smuggling heavy weapons because they are not similar to smuggling light or even medium weapons, especially since all Yemeni waters are subject to a blockade by the aggression coalition, which only allows some ships after inspecting them.
In the face of all this fabrication and deception, the Yemeni people and their free leadership look at such propaganda with sarcasm and consider it a clear indication of the state of despair, confusion and defeat that the American-British aggression is experiencing. It is the same state that the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression reached after it was unable to confront the Yemeni army and did not achieve anything one of his alleged targets.
Therefore, the lie of “smuggling missiles and drones from Iran” has returned in a greater way this time in an attempt to downplay the unprecedented development demonstrated by the qualitative military operations of the Yemeni armed forces in the face of the American and European naval alliances, and the admissions of many American and Western military leaders of the difficulty of the confrontations with Yemen.
This campaign also came to cover up the failure of the coalition to protect Israeli ships in the Red and Arabian seas, and coincided with the Yemeni leadership’s announcement to prevent Israeli ships and those linked to the Zionist entity from passing through the Indian Ocean and the Cape of Good Hope road, a decision that observers considered “a bullet of mercy for the coalition to protect Israeli ships.” “And a message to the enemy entity that nothing will save it from the Yemeni missiles and marches except to stop its aggression and siege of Gaza.”
Likewise, such nonsense and lies will not change anything in the Yemeni reality, and will not have any impact on Yemen’s military capabilities and the great development that the Yemeni armed forces have achieved in the local military production and manufacturing of various weapons, ammunition, equipment, and everything that the battle with the nation’s enemies requires.
Due to the frequent repetition of this CD by the media affiliated with the aggression countries and mercenaries over the past years, the Yemeni people are tired of hearing it and have begun to look with contempt and disparagement at everyone who repeats it or tries to convince them of it, while their respect and confidence in the Yemeni armed forces increases.
Yemen's arrival at this advanced and qualitative level in the military field was not a result of the moment, but rather was the result of cumulative experiences and expertise extending over more than nine years of war, confrontation, and confrontation of enemy machinations, which helped the country to innovate and transform challenges into opportunities with Yemeni hands and expertise.
The leadership in Sana'a confirms that Yemen is now producing all types of light and medium weapons, even advanced and long-range weapons and missiles, pointing out that all weapons are being produced, starting from the pistol, Kalashnikov, and cannon, to ballistic missiles and drones of various ranges.
The leadership stated more than once that Yemen now manufactures all infantry weapons, medium weapons, and even advanced weapons... stressing that the future of industrialization in Yemen, both military and civilian, is promising and that Yemen manufactures what many countries are unable to manufacture.
