SANA'A, Aug. 31 (Saba) - Minister of Industry and Commerce Mohammed Sharaf Al-Mutahar stressed the need to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the Fund for Financing Small Industries and the General Authority for the development of Small and smallest institution in order to contribute to the advancement of the industries sectors small and the smallest in the country.
During his meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Financing Small Industries and Enterprises, Ibrahim Chiban stressed Tuesday the activation of the Fund's role and the development of working mechanisms to improve its performance to serve the community and implement its mandated objectives.
He noted the importance of the complementarity and synergy of efforts between the Fund and the Public Authority for small and smallest business development to bring about a qualitative shift in support for small industries and encouraged young people and entrepreneurs to engage in this vital economic area.
He pointed out that the Fund should operate at a high pace to reflect its impact on the small industry sector, demonstrating the Ministry's willingness to provide support to the Fund to overcome difficulties and activate performance in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities.
